Did you just search Google, “how to enable rich pins” on WordPress. In the following very quick tutorial I’m going to show you how to enable rich pins for WordPress using Yoast.
Learn how you can get these installed and start making your pins more friendly for your audience. There is no more need to validate your rich pins on Pinterest os if someone tells you to do that their tutorial is out of date.
Step One: Head to your WordPress dashboard and go to plugins.
Then install the Yoast SEO plugin & activate it.
Step 2: In the sidebar of your WordPress website click Yoast then choose settings.
Step 3: Once in your Yoast settings scroll down until you see “Social Settings” and ensure the open graph setting is enabled. This should be automatic but just double check it. Once you have done this save your changes and you now have rich pins for articles on your blogs.
Rich pins are an upgraded type of pin on Pinterest that feed through extra meta data to the pin on Pinterest. This helps your pinner to see more about your pin. They are commonplace on Pinterest now and automatic as long as you have the open graph feature turned on for WordPress.
