Make Pinterest Easy
Grab our Pinterest Strategy Checklist & Pinterest Trends Calendar so you know when to pin, what to pin and why you should pin it. If your goal is to get more traffic, grow your email list & sell more then you’re in good hands.
Free Pinterest Resources
Let’s start this list of amazing Pinterest marketing resources off with my free strategy checklist.
Heather’s Pinterest Strategy Checklist
I created this strategy checklist in the very beginning of my Pinterest VA journey. In fact, it has morphed a lot over the years but it started out as a way for me to keep track of what I was supposed to be doing for client accounts.
Part of this checklist is also for the client so they can complete specific actions with each of their newly published posts.
This is the only resource out there that is from the client management perspective. Not only do you get my checklist but you also get a calendar and list of trends and content ideas for each month of the year.

My YouTube Channel
I have a YouTube channel where I publish content teaching you how to use Pinterest to market your website. I publish how to’s as well as trainings on using this platform for marketing.
Pin Practical Ads
This is a free training from Monica Froese at Redefining Mom. She’s the best teacher when it comes to teaching you how to run low cost ads on Pinterest.
Her free training will walk you through how to create click-worthy graphics, find keywords and map out your promoted pin funnel.
Pinterest Newsroom & Insights
This is something I think a lot of people miss out on. I have these pages bookmarked and check them weekly. I even read their nerdy blog on Medium from time to time.
I would check out Pinterest Newsroom for updates on new Pinterest tools and updates with the company.
I would also bookmark and check their insights page from time to time. This is where they publish yearly and monthly trends data.
I completely nerd out on reading about how other companies are using Pinterest to grow their brand. If you want to get advertising inspiration then you should check out their success stories blog.
I love to get my hands on anything directly from Pinterest. While it’s not usually super in depth it usually is a great insight into what you can do to grow your brand using their platform.
This is the only automation tool I would suggest when you are scheduling your pins week to week. Tailwind is also a great resource when it comes to marketing on Pinterest & Instagram.
They work closely with Pinterest to help us to make better marketing decisions using both tools.
Simple Pin Podcast
I am one for collaboration over competition and Kate’s podcast should be a must on your list for learning about how to use Pinterest to grow your blog.
I listen to Kate’s podcast on the regular and she’s got a different way of thinking about this wonderful platform.
Paid Pinterest Marketing Resources
Now of course not every resource is going to be free and with good reason. You will learn so much more and be more invested in your business when you invest in yourself.
So let’s dive right in.
Pin Profit Plan
This is my Pinterest marketing course that is designed to help you take your organic Pinterest marketing to the next level. You are sure to learn something in this course even if you have been working on Pinterest for a while.
I teach you how to start or convert your account and walk you through optimizing your profile and pins and automating them with my strategy that I use for myself and my clients.
Pin Power Up
If you aren’t quite ready for a full-blown marketing course and you just want high level strategy then I encourage you to look into my mini training Pin Power Up.
This training doesn’t teach you how to create images or optimize your profile. It teaches you how to take your new or old content and strategically promote it on Pinterest and read your analytics to figure out what is working and whats not.
Pin Practical Conversions
This is another training from Monica Froese and she teaches you how to setup and run your Pinterest traffic through a funnel so you can convert those leads to customers and email signups.
If you don’t understand funnels but you have a handle on your Pinterest traffic then you need this training. Monica is so smart when it comes to creating funnels that convert. She’s even told me in the past she doesn’t play with free so anything she puts out she wants to know it will make her money.
Pin Practical Promotions
Holy cow this is my favorite ads training that teaches you how to run ads on Pinterest. Monica is so detailed with what you need to do, how to do it and WHY you’re doing it.
If you have ever considered running ads or want to explore that option I would suggest taking a look at her Promotions course.
If you are running a service business and want to add this to your list of services you offer then this is also a great course for you.
WOO. Holy smokes that was a great list of Pinterest marketing resources and I hope you take a serious look into each item on the list depending on where you are in your learning phase.
